Packing List

Pack your suitcase as if you are going on a trip for approximately two weeks. Bring enough clothing and toiletries for that time period. Also, consider the region where your ship will be sailing. For example, if the ship is sailing in Alaska, you may want to bring a few items of warm clothing. Remember that you will be receiving your uniform when you arrive on board. However, you will need to bring your own shoes for work.

Due to airline restrictions and the limited storage space in your cabin, we recommend that you pack lightly. Most airlines limit luggage to two checked bags, weighing 50 pounds (23 kg) or less, and one smaller carry-on bag. Airlines and security agencies also have restrictions on the transport of batteries, dangerous goods, electronics, and liquids. Please check with your scheduled airline(s) and country regulations for all baggage and airport security regulations.

If you forget an item or run out, most accessories, clothing, and toiletries are available from the onboard Crew Shop or stores in ports your ship will visit.

You are allowed to wear your own clothing during travel and when you first arrive at the ship, but keep in mind that first impressions will be made the moment you set foot on the gangway. A more conservative appearance is preferred.
