The CRUISE program began on our ships in May 1996 as a way of distinguishing our product from other cruise lines through excellent customer service. As a result, our scores in passenger satisfaction climbed to new heights, demonstrating our crew members' dedication to providing the highest level of service.
Today, the CRUISE program is embraced and exemplified by shipboard and shoreside staff alike and forms the basis for the teamwork and pride that have come to define Princess Cruises.
In everything that we do, we want everyone to experience our Shared Purpose: to share our world, share our hearts and create lasting memories. Nothing gives us greater pleasure than to reward and recognize the efforts of our employees for all you do to help us deliver on this promise.
We have several opportunities to earn rewards, including our Above and Beyond, Moments that Matter, We Innovate Ideas, and President’s Award.
Above and Beyond
Our Above and Beyond award recognizes employees who create moments that go above and beyond their regular duties to impact guests and/or other crew members. It recognizes employees for doing more than what is required and is our way of acknowledging what you do to create memorable moments and experiences for our guests.
Moments that Matter
Guest can also nominate crew. Guests are encouraged to fill out in-stateroom nomination cards for crew members who offer service that goes beyond excellence to create experiences that lead to lasting memories of their cruise.
We Innovate Ideas is a website that allows all Princess employees to share their ideas—big or small. We are looking for ideas that delight our guests, improve financial performance, and inspire the team. Employees who submit ideas that are approved are considered for an Innovator award.
Each year, we award a top honor on each vessel: the President’s Award. The President of Princess Cruises, Jan Swartz, will select the winner from the year’s Above and Beyond, Moments that Matter, and Innovator awardees.
